Love for Haiti
A benefit featuring live music and artwork. The event will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Lounjin Café in Seattle from 7pm-10pm. This event is based entirely on volunteers, donations, and you, our community support.
Pre-sale tickets are $20.00, and are now available for purchase online (see below). Tickets at the door will be $25.00.
Artwork
Artwork donated from local Seattle and West Coast artists will be available for purchase. Artwork includes oil and acrylic paintings, drawings, fiber art, jewelry art, and photography.
Musicians
We have five local individuals and bands performing throughout the night:
Knox Burnett, John Wu, Drypoint, Black Swedes, and Nick Drummond from The Senate.
Donations
100% of the proceeds (minus transaction costs) generated from the artwork, merchandise, and ticket sales will go directly to the non-profit, One Day’s Wages (ODW). In addition, Lounjin Café will donate 10% of cafe profits to ODW.
Venue
Lounjin Café is located at 4527 University Way NE, and offers an eclectic mix of sake, beer, and wine while keeping the essential espresso & tea. There will be complimentary appetizers. Free street parking is available after 6pm.
