Why I'm Doing This:

In October of 1926, R. E. Shackelford moved to Savannah, Tennessee and opened the town's first funeral home. He succeeded, and today the Shackelford Family still owns and operates that funeral home as well as five others located in Bolivar, Henderson, Selmer, and Waynesboro, Tennessee.

My Invitation to You:

2011 will mark Shackelford Funeral Directors' 85th year in business, and to celebrate we wanted to do something special, so we are donating our birthday to the One Day's Wages Horn of Africa Relief Fund.

Our goal is to raise $8,500. The catch is, Shackelford Funeral Directors will then match the final total up to $8,500. Please help us to celebrate our birthday by helping a group of people who desperately need it. Thank you.
