Become an ODW Partnering Group
The One Day’s Wages movement of simple generosity to alleviate global poverty began with thousands of individuals realizing what a difference their day’s wages can make to impact the major crises of our day. Now in our second year, we’re calling for groups — nonprofits and businesses alike — to realize their own potential in the movement.
When your company, religious community, nonprofit, or club chooses to become an ODW Partnering Group, you’re building a relationship with ODW and our simple yet difference- making model for generosity which has already raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to alleviate global poverty and has been featured by The New York Times, The Seattle Times, NPR, and CBS News.
The simplicity we’ve modeled with individuals extends to Partnering Groups. When your group contributes its sales or profits from one day per week, month, or year, you’re joining this movement of simple generosity and exemplifying corporate citizenship. While one-time donations are well-received, we would be grateful to be your partner for long-term, recurring generosity.
The entirety of your donation goes to projects or grants alleviating global poverty. You can select the destination of your donation from within our list of projects or issues, and we’ll show you how your funds are invested and effecting change. While some partners request anonymity, we would love to share the story of your generosity with our vast network via our website and social media because we believe success stories compel others to join the movement.
If you’re looking for additional ways to help the movement, your in-kind gift can significantly help us achieve our mission. In-kind gifts include (but are not limited to): office supplies, airline miles, equipment, or items used in our annual fundraising auction or general operation.
All donations to One Day’s Wages are tax-deductible to their full legal extent.
