Handstands for Humanity

My Story
Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m a girl from Seattle, WA who lives in Dublin, Ireland. With a degree in Society, Ethics and Human Behavior and a minor in Human Rights, I’m fascinated by people and why they do what they do. I’ve been married to my best friend for five years and we live a life full of adventure, travel, fitness, dreams and laughter (lots of laughter)
Why I'm doing handstands around the world?
I have a deep passion for fulfilling the tangible needs of those who are deprived of basic life necessities, and I long to see respect and dignity restored to all people and communities. After witnessing extreme poverty firsthand in both India and Haiti, I have made a personal commitment to help end it.
Also, my husband and I have recently had the opportunity to travel around Europe. So I’m doing handstands around the world to raise awareness of extreme global poverty. Why handstands? I love doing handstands! Why not combine something I love doing with something I’m passionate about? Check out my blog & photos.
Join me as I partner with ODW!
The ODW movement is about partnering with organizations that are on the ground in developing countries, helping people lift themselves out of poverty. This is about people coming together to make a difference. I invite you to join me in helping those who are helping others by donating one day of your wages or another amount of your choice. Anything and everything helps and 100% of your donations (minus credit card fees) go directly to empower those living in extreme poverty in Haiti.
