Morrison Academy Kaohsiung 2011 Christmas Campaign

One Day's Wages is excited to again welcome the students, parents, and faculty of Morrison Academy Kaohsiung (MAK) in Taiwan as a partner school in the fight against extreme poverty.

In 2010, MAK engaged in a phenomenal ODW campaign to help provide access to clean water to 7 sites in Cambodia impacting over 10,000 children!

Together and again, we believe we can make a dramatic impact in global poverty and create a more compassionate and just world.

Who is Morrison Academy?

"We are a Christian International school for kids K-ninth grade on the Southern part of Taiwan. Each year we launch a Christmas campaign to celebrate Jesus by doing something we know He cares about. This year we are excited to partner with Eden Reforestation Project in employing local workers in Madagascar to plant trees. We recognize the importance of caring for the earth God gave us as well as caring for the poor. With Eden we have the opportunity to do both and find it a very fitting and meaningful way to celebrate the holiday season.

Please consider joining us in this endeavor and together we can plant trees and save lives!"

The Partnership & Project

The students, parents, and faculty of MAK are seeking to raise $10,000 to support ODW's partnership project with ERP. For every dollar, Eden will plant 10 trees, so our goal is to plant a total of 100,000 trees! This will also provide 1000 days of employment for people in poverty.

ODW's Pledge

100% of all donation (minus credit card fees) will go directly to this project. Progress reports including pictures will be provided to our friends at MAK.
