ODW Health Fund

The ODW Health Fund addresses the lack of access to medical care in the developing world by funding quality projects. For the 1.2 billion people living on less than $1.25 a day, basic health care remains out of reach or completely unavailable. This is demonstrated in how 1 in 5 children die before their fifth birthday in some developing countries.
Why Health Care?
By giving to this fund you will provide treatment to those in need, help stop the spread of diseases through preventive care, and empower local communities to develop their health care facilities and personnel. The world's poor disproportionately suffer from ill health as malaria deaths occur in just 17 countries, resulting in about 627,000 deaths, 80% of which are children under the age of five. Congo and Nigeria count for 40% of malaria mortality worldwide. In sub-Saharan Africa nearly 1 in every 20 adults living with HIV, and 70% of all people living with HIV are living in this region, but this does not have to be the case.
We Can Make a Difference.
We aim to provide basic health necessities and health care training to those living in extreme global poverty, and sustainable health care through a collaborative effort. This increases the economic potential in the communities by keeping children in school, and adults at work instead of sick, or dying from preventable diseases. We have partnered with incredible health-oriented organizations such as Nyaya Health, Heal Africa, Preemptive Love, and Mali Health striving to build and support sustainable healthcare facilities and programs.
We urge you to come alongside us as we work to make access to health care a possibility for those living in poverty as it is an essential human right!
