To help people manage and organise themselves will not only empower them but will contribute to the rebuilding of needed visions and ways of doing things. Such actions does cultivate from a grass root level democracy which is most needed to bring change to the political affairs of developing countries. The intentions of Bevar stilen will focus on developing and promoting youths and individuals in developing self- efficiency skills, there by turning around their disadvantaged economical situation into an advantage one.
Background
Background information of Mile 91
The town Mile 91 in Sierra Leone West Africa is an intersection connecting the South, East and North to the capital city of Sierra Leone, Freetown. Located in Youni Bana chiefdom, Mile 91 is vital in bridging the rest of the country to the city, Freetown. Exactly 91 kilometres away from Freetown, the town like other towns in the country depend on the city for trade and every other supply. Located in the Northern Province, Mile91 is home to the second largest ethnic tribal population; Temne, of Sierra Leone. The population is about 25000 people comprising of small numbers of all the tribes of the country. The livelihood of the people living in and around Mile 91 is farming and small businesses. A decade of war arrested the hopes and development of the people of Sierra Leone from 1991 – 2002. Today more than ever before the need for support of developmental programms is what is missing in the lives of the people of Sierra Leone who are ranked as the poorest nation in the world by the United Nation Human Development Index (HDI).

Story of Bevar stilen
Bevar stilen’ Eco Proto Village of Mile 91 is founded in 2009 by Jesper Hansen and Madda Henry Magbity. We came up with a vibrant and enthusiastic young and dynamic non-profit business approach to help the people of West Africa. The focus right now is to build an Eco Proto Village in Mile 91, Sierra Leone. The business and ideas roots lay in both Denmark and Sierra Leone. The step to follow this journey and to enrich the lives of ordinary people of Mile 91 in Sierra Leone came to life one summer afternoon in Copenhagen during a series of discussions on how to make a difference in people’s lives in developing countries.
In January 2009, one of the founders of Bevar stilen visited Sierra Leone on a needs assessment mission for three weeks. During this period, discussions with locals and community leaders about needs and ideas of programmes for development of the community were gathered. The information guarded Bevarstilen to make the decision to acquire a land in Mile 91 which will be use to implement Bevar stilen’ programmes.
In this way Bevar stilen’ originated a non profit business like organization plan that operates by a vision of embed personal solidarity in developing work.

* Simplicity is a key to every undertaken of Bevar stilen business.
