Profile
I am the husband of Cherie and the father of Ben, Alex and Miyah. I am passionate about justice, racial reconciliation and relationships. When I visited Mexico and held a little baby girl in a poor mountain village, I finally got on board with my wife's heart for international adoption. The first time I stepped foot on Guatemalan soil I fell in love with the people and the culture. When we traveled to Nepal to adopt our daughter, God stretched my heart even further for the world and for issues related to global poverty and orphan care.
Because of the passion that is so clearly communicated for establishing partnerships with existing grassroots organizations already working with people living in extreme poverty. I believe it will take organizations that raise awareness and support on a grand scale, that also understand the need for grassroots efforts in local communities around the world. ODW has that perspective and I fully support the genuine heart and passion they have.
