Open Bible Faith Fellowship Bio:
With one foot in each ocean and travelling from one coast to the other I've worked in ministry throughout Canada since 2002. Prior to that I was a commercial fisherwoman, mother, orchardist, shepherdess and taught weaving and spinning to the back-to-the-landers that asked to learn sustainable skills.
Having reached burnout in ministry I desired to help others by-pass that roadblock and provide for them a place of rest and renewal. So my new path has been illuminated and am now walking down that road, with the Lord, and desire for others to come and be refreshed and renewed.
The Lord has several times in my short life done things "in one day" and in this instance He has proven that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are the called of Christ - I had come to the end of my career in street ministry, working as a Chef in a Christian restaurant (opportunity to ask, "Would you like prayer with that?") where we served incredible food to the wealthy and the impoverished; experienced the loss of both my father and brother in 3 months, and was informed my suite, that was a ministry gift from friends was to be rented to another friend in 3 weeks, so I was going to be homeless, too.
So jobless and homeless, with no provision I decided to make a choice after seeking the Lord and chose to go to Newfoundland to return my father's ashes to his home and see if I could find a place to live. The financial blessing to do this came into play and now I am in a position to offer a home to those needing sabbatical rest, a time of refreshing and a getaway, at the end of the road, when they find themselves at the end of their roads.
