Why I'm Doing This:

One Day's Wages is thrilled to launch a new partner project with Sayaha International to help with their efforts to bring about positive change in India. ODW will match the $4,600 raised by this campaign for a total grant of $9,200. By supporting this project, Sahaya will be able to bring improved health care and health education to children living in the rural area of Andimadam in south India. 

This partnership will help bring improved health care and health awareness to more than 600 children who are a part of 2 kindergarten/elementary schools, an orphan sponsorship program and a vocational training program. Sahaya will hire a nursing staff to perform health check-ups on all students and collaborate with science teachers to design and teach a health awareness curriculum. This project will have a significant impact on the children of Andimadam and bring about improved health in this community for generations to come.

Sahaya International is a humanitarian organization that has help many children in rural India over years.  I have had the great opportunity to be a part of these childrens' lives and it has been the most precious gift in my own life.  Every child deserves a happy and healthy childhood. I hope that you join us in this humanitarian quest to provide medical aid to these precious children. Thank you so much.
