Thanks for your support, prayers, encouragement, and patience. Whether we're ready or not, we'll be launching the organization on October 20.
Here's three simple updates:
- We're Hiring. Update: we hired our operations director couple weeks ago and have also brought on 5 interns. // We're looking for someone to join our small team as our Operations Director [here's the job posting]. The full-time salary isn't glamorous but such is the nature of our start-up non-profit. We're also lookingfor Interns who are able to volunteer 10+ hours/week. Asides from general “I Will Do Anything” interns, we're looking for folks with skills in Graphic Design, Web Design/Coding [Drupal is a big Plus], Grant Writing, Accounting/Bookkeeping, Social Media, Event Planning, Fundraising, etc. Resumes and cover letters for both the Operations Director and Intern positions can be emailed to eugene@onedaywages.org
- ODW Website. As I shared above, we'll be ramping it up in the coming weeks. Hopefully, we'll have the beta version ofhttps://65.98.207.196 available by early October. We're still working on it and testing it out. But early reviews and responses about the website have been very positive. - ODW iPhone app.I don't even own an iPhone but I'm very excited. One of my blog readers was gracious enough to create this. He's still working on it but we're excited to release this as part of the launch of our movement.
